Umami Burger launches second outlet in Japan
The American burger chain plans to roll out 10 more outlets in the country by 2020.
Umami Burger has announced that they opened a new store in Yokohama City in partnership with Japan-based company Medeiros Holdings, Japan last September 22.
The site has 47 seats with design details including natural wood, leather and colors that is said to portray a mix of East and West. They feature menu items such as Throwback burger, Manly burger, Truffle burger and the Impossible Burger range which is released in partnership with Impossible Foods.
Umami Burger is owned by US hospitality company sbe along with a number of hotels, residences, restaurants and nightclubs.

We are eager to bring our iconic restaurant to the Japanese market," Sam Nazarian, founder & CEO of sbe, said.
Umami has plans to roll out 10 more outlets in Japan by 2020 with further expansion plans in Mexico, UAE and Qatar.
