Yum China launches new fund for management team's families

This follows the company’s existing family care program for their general managers.

Yum China announced the launch of its new fund for their restaurant management team’s (RMT) families.

The family care fund covers an estimated 86,000 parents, spouses and children of more than 31,000 RMT employees.

“The launch of the RMT Family Care Fund aims to provide restaurant management employees with the practical support that they need," Yum China chief people officer Aiken Yuen said in a statement.

Participation in the family care fund is on a voluntary basis, the company underscored.

This new care program also provides additional coverage for critical illness for management team members’ parents and additional accident coverage for their children and spouse.

The new fund follows the company’s existing family care program for their general managers, first introduced in 2018.
