Bakehouse names ex-PizzaExpress exec as Managing Director
Bakehouse was founded by master baker and pastry chef Grégoire Michaud.
Hong Kong’s artisanal bakery Bakehouse has appointed Liam Collete as its new Managing Director.
In this newly created position, Collette will bring his wealth of experience in strategy, management and international expansion to the team.
Prior to his new role, Collette helmed the role of Managing Director International at PizzaExpress, looking after over 80 restaurants in 10 markets across China, India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
“I have known Liam for many years. We shared a passion for food, culture and hospitality. As Bakehouse is marching into its next decade, this is the perfect time to welcome Liam to the family. His rich industry and international background will be an invaluable addition to us.” Chef Grégoire Michaud said.
Founded in 2018, Bakehouse is Chef Michaud’s answer to Hong Kong’s lack of good bread It currently has five bakeries in the city.
