It’s the first of 150 outlets over the next decade.
According to Carl’s Jr.’s news release, a subsidiary of Mitsuuroko Group Holdings (MGHD), Carl’s Jr. Japan, will operate the restaurant, which will be located in the Akibahara area of Tokyo.

Under the development deal, outlets are also scheduled to open in Azabujyuban, Odaiba, Shibuya and Roppongi.
“Japan is the largest burger market in Asia and Japanese consumers are well known for their passionate enthusiasm for quality, great tasting food,” said Ned Lyerly, President, International at CKE.
Open daily from 8 am to 9 pm, the Akihabara branch will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items. It will also offer complimentary Wi-Fi, a refillable beverage bar, and draft beer.
