MOS Burger owner eyes JV in Vietnam: report
The burger company also plans to launch 10 stores in three years.
MOS Food Services, the operator of its namesake burger brand, has revealed plans to set up a joint venture company in Vietnam, eyeing to open about 10 stores in the next three years, the Nikkei Asian Review has reported.
The Japanese QSR also launched a program with a university in Da Nang city to train students in restaurant management training.
The program is said to be a part of its plan to hire 50 people to work for their stores this year in Japan under its latest work visa program.
The report noted that MOS Burger has sought to lift its overseas market sales to 35 billion yen (US$313m) by FY2021 from 30.8bn yen (US$278.9m) over the last three years.
The chain also made its Philippine debut, having launched a store in Robinsons Galleria, Pasig City.
