CHAGEE Philippines unveils Jasmine Tieguanyin drinks
A lineup of tea-themed activities and merch will roll out ahead of International Tea Day.
CHAGEE Philippines is rolling out a new jasmine oolong tea line and a series of tea-related activities ahead of International Tea Day on 21 May.
The chain will launch its BO·YA Jasmine Tieguanyin Tea series on 8 May, expanding its existing BO·YA Jasmine lineup.
The drink combines jasmine with Tieguanyin, an oolong tea variety known for its orchid-like aroma.
CHAGEE said the Tieguanyin tea leaves are sourced from high-altitude farms in Southern Fujian, China, whilst the jasmine flowers come from Hengxian in Guangxi province.
The BO·YA Jasmine Tieguanyin Milk Tea will be priced at PHP159 for a regular size and PHP175 for a large.
The brewed tea version will cost PHP130 for regular and PHP145 for large.
The launch will also include tea-themed merchandise such as a tea-scented charm, a tea icon keychain, and a tea-root tumbler.
Some items will be offered as part of in-store bundles with BO·YA Family drinks during the promotional period.
CHAGEE also plans to release a publication focused on tea culture and heritage starting 21 May at select stores.
As part of its International Tea Day activities, the brand will hold a “Sip and Learn Tea Workshop” beginning 11 May, where participants will be introduced to tea making and tea tasting by a tea master.
A second workshop session will be held at SM North EDSA on 21 May and will be open to the public through registration on the CHAGEE app.
A third session is scheduled for 6 June at Robinsons Galleria.
From 18 to 21 May, CHAGEE will also offer free Regular BO·YA Jasmine Tieguanyin Milk Tea to the first 100 customers at each Philippine store daily at 3 p.m. during merienda hours.
