KFC Philippines opens virtual restaurant on “Animal Crossing”
The fast food chain created a virtual version of Colonel Sanders as its main character.
KFC Philippines has launched a restaurant inside the online world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, capitalising on the popular game that has been creatively used by companies across the world for real-life promotions, graduations and even political protests.
The fast food chain customised its main player to be a virtual version of Colonel Sanders, with the game’s deserted island also transformed into a KFC-themed area, containing an outdoor restaurant with the brand’s signature red and white aesthetic.
