Shake Shack Hong Kong brings back its spicy chicken menu

The new menu is part of its Lunar New Year limited-time offer.

Shake Shack Hong Kong is bringing back its Hot Honey Chicken Menu for the Lunar New Year.

The Hot Honey Chicken will be available to all Hong Kong restaurants starting 16 January to 1 April.

According to Shake Shack, the blazing red of the Hot Honey Chicken’s sweet and spicy sauce offers a message of good fortune and prosperity for the coming year.

A spin on the classic Chicken Shack, the Hot Honey Chicken Burger features a hot honey-glazed crispy chicken topped with the Shack’s cabbage and green apple slaw on a toasted potato bun. Guests can choose either chicken thigh or chicken breast for their burgers. The selected chicken is 100% all-natural chicken, hand-breaded and cooked to order every time with no antibiotics and hormones.

Meanwhile, the limited-time Hot Honey Chicken Bites are crispy, whole white meat chicken pieces served with Hot Honey sauce on the side. They are available in servings of six and 10.

Also returning for the Lunar New Year celebrations are Shake Shack’s limited edition red packets, available from January 22 with the order of any Hot Honey Chicken exclusive. Guests can receive one pack of exclusive red packets per order at any Shake Shack location or on the mobile ordering platform – stocks are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
