Krispy Kreme unveils Sesame Street-themed doughnuts in Japan
The limited edition range includes characters like Cookie Monster and Elmo.
Krispy Kreme Japan will offer Sesame Street-themed doughnuts including a wasabi-flavoured one.
The new range will include a Cookie Monster doughnut with blue sprinkles, a red Elmo doughnut with strawberry icing, a chocolate chip cookie doughnut and a wasabi cream doughnut.
The wasabi cream doughnut, which will only be sold at Krispy Kreme Japan’s Tokyo International Forum branch, notably includes sesame-scented crackers and brown rice puffs in addition to the wasabi cream.
The doughnuts will cost around $2.47 (¥324) for takeout and $2.52 (¥330 yen) for dine-in.
The new doughnut range will be available starting from 19 April until the end of May.
