MOS Burger Singapore now serves Impossible vegan option

The vegan burger is only available until stocks last.

MOS Burger Singapore is the latest among burger chains to offer Bill Gates-backed Impossible Foods’ plant-based meat in a new burger item.

The MOS Impossible Burger, which retails at S$6.95 (US$5.11) a la carte, features the vegan patty, along with sliced cheese, fried onions and a BBQ glaze.

The Impossible burger is only available for a limited time across the Japanese burger chain’s 39 outlets in the Lion City.

The US-based burger concept VeganBurg first introduced the plant-based burger in the island nation last April. A month later, its fellow American chain Fatburger offered the same branded meat alternative in a burger for SG$10.90 (US$8).

Impossible Foods, the company behind the famed vegan meat brand, entered Singapore this year after it landed in Hong Kong and Macau in 2018.
