Pirata Group to open new casual dining concept

The Pizza Project will kick off with a street party on 14 January.

Hong Kong-based restaurant company Pirata Group has announced it is opening a new casual dining concept this January.

The Pizza Project, slated to open on Peel Street in central Hong Kong, is the brainchild of Pici chefs Andrea Viglione and Davide Borin and operations manager Nacho Lopez.

“Pizza bring us back to our childhood filled with happy memories and fun experiences shared with friends and family. We envision bringing excellent pizza at a fair price, so that everyone can enjoy pizza the same way we did back home,” the Pici team said in a statement.

The Pizza Project launch will kick off with a street party on 14 January.
