Indonesian coffee brand Tomoro Coffee marks China debut
The brand plans to open 400 outlets in the country.
Indonesian coffee brand Tomoro Coffee has opened its first outlet in Shanghai, China.
The new location is located at Qingpu E Link World Industrial Park. The area is a logistic hub in Shanghai.
Tomoro Coffee is backed by venture capital firm ATM Capital, a Chinese-led venture capital firm focused on the Southeast Asian market, headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. It derives its name from ‘tomorrow’ and means “embrace the goodness and yearn for tomorrow”.
The brand has over 200 outlets in Indonesia and is set to open 400 more.
Last year, Tomoro Coffee shared that it aims to reach 4,000 outlets in Southeast Asia, eyeing Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines for growth.
