KFC Singapore eyes ‘seamless' ordering with new omni-channel app
It also comes with cashless payment feature and an automatic order tracking system.
Looking to improve their ordering mechanism, KFC Singapore has unveiled a new omni-channel app where a customer can order via dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
"We strive to make KFC easily accessible to our fans, hence the omni-ordering app will allow users to pick up their phones and order KFC no matter where they are, to beat the queue when dining at the restaurant, make a takeaway order in advance for pick up or deliver to wherever they are," KFC Singapore told QSR Media.
"Also, we see a growing trend of busy Singaporeans seeking convenience by using apps to order food, or for online shopping (e-commerce), so we want to be in that space too."
For them to know whether their order’s ready, an automatic order tracking system is also provided. It also comes with a cashless payment feature. KFC Singapore says they are planning to add more payment modes that are "commonly available" in the market, more rewards for users signing up whilst reviewing the ordering flow and process to make improvements.
“With the app’s fuss-free cashless payment and automatic order tracking systems, hangry is going to be a word of the distant past. Pay with a quick tap and you are well on your way to tucking in,” the brand said in their announcement.
