Swiss Bear provides meals for riders during Ramadan
The brand partners with outlets to offer free Iftar meals for on-duty delivery workers.
Swiss Bear is partnering with food operators across Kuala Lumpur this Ramadan to distribute complimentary meals to delivery riders and kitchen teams, creating designated spaces at participating outlets where riders can break their fast comfortably whilst collecting orders.
The initiative targets workers who continue preparing and delivering meals through sunset as Muslims observe the holy month of prayer, fasting, and reflection.
Many riders break fast on the move to meet delivery times, prompting the brand to work with selected operators to offer free dishes and rest stops at key locations.
Swiss Bear, a food solutions brand under Kerry Group, supplies sauces and dressings to professional kitchens and said the programme is designed to recognise the people who help ensure Iftar meals reach families and communities each evening.
Alongside the meal distribution, the company is encouraging public participation by asking customers to buy dishes prepared using its sauces, follow its Facebook and Instagram pages to track a donation counter, and visit participating outlets to leave messages of support.
Campaign content will include videos, recipe features, and live streams. Purchases made through a Shopee Raya Bundle promotion until 15 March will also contribute to the final number of dishes donated.
With more than 25 years of supplying food businesses, Swiss Bear said the Ramadan drive reflects its ongoing focus on supporting both operators and frontline delivery workers during one of the busiest periods of the year.
