Mapo Galmaegi set to open in Pakistan
It currently has 37 international stores in six countries, including the US and Singapore.
Korean barbeque chain Mapo Galmaegi is set to launch in Pakistan in August, Korea Herald has reported.
The Pakistani automobile importer M Anwar Bro, which recently ventured into the food business, has secured the franchising rights to operate the barbeque brand owned by KOSDAQ-listed company Didim.
The report noted that the Korean barbeque chain will offer beef menu in consideration of the country’s islamic orientation.
There are currently 147 Mapo Galmaegi outlets in South Korea and 37 international stores in six markets.
