BreadTalk's Oh Eng Lock steps down as executive director
His resignation is scheduled to take effect on August 31.
BreadTalk Group Ltd. has announced that Oh Eng Lock is stepping down as executive director.
Prior to his year-long stint in the said role, Oh previously worked for the group as its managing director from June 2010 to December 2010 and subsequently served as group chief executive officer from January 2011 to June 30, 2017.
“The Board would like to express its appreciation to Mr. Oh for his contribution during his tenure as the Executive Director of the Company,” the group said in the announcement.
Oh’s resignation also resulted in the decision to reconstitute the structure of the Board of Directors.
With this being done, Dr. George Quek Meng Tong still remains as chairman; Katherine Lee Lih Leng as the deputy chairman; Paul Charles Kenny as the non-executive director; Ong Kian Min as the lead independent director; Chan Soo Sen and Tan Khee Giap as the independent directors.
The composition of the Audit, Nominating and Remuneration Committees are said to remain.
