Latest recipe of Impossible Burger to launch in Singapore later this year

The island-nation will be the third Asian market for the plant-based product after launching in Hong Kong and Macau in 2018.

Impossible Foods, the Bill Gates-backed company behind the plant-based Impossible Burger, is slated to launch the newest generation of its signature product in another market in Asia.

"The company plans to launch the new recipe in Singapore later this year, with additional markets to come," it said in an announcement. They have yet to confirm which restaurant brands will utliise the product.

Impossible Foods' arrival in Singapore was foreshadowed by reports of Temasek investing in the company. The island-nation will also be the third Asian market for the plant-based product after launching in Hong Kong and Macau in 2018.

They recently accelerated the launch of the Impossible Burger 2.0 due to "unprecedented demand" to about 200 restaurants in the U.S., with thousands more over the upcoming weeks.
