Marrybrown launches salted egg-flavoured meals
The chain has over 500 restaurants in 16 countries.
Malaysia-headquartered chain Marrybrown has launched salted egg-flavoured versions of a couple of their staples.
Customers now have the option of purchasing a Salted Egg Burger, paired with French fries or their Salted Egg Ayam meal, showcasing their crispy chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetable salad.
Marrybrown’s take on salted egg sauce is infused with a dash of spice and aromatic curry leaves.
“We know that the Salted Egg trend has been a hit among Malaysians’ over the years and have tried it on every kind of meals possible, but we are confident that our sauce will be a favourite with our customers as not only it has that extra-special kick bound to entice Malaysians, we are adamant to use real salted eggs for this menu as it will add a creamy richness and an umami to the sauce,” said Dato’ Joshua Liew, Chief Executive Officer of Marrybrown.
The chain has more than 500 restaurants across 16 countries.
