McDonald’s SG reveals upgraded recipe for classic burgers
It will also be permanently reviving an old menu favourite.
McDonald’s Singapore announced that it will be upgrading the recipe for its classic burgers including the Big Mac, Double Cheeseburger, and the Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
The buns of these burgers will be served with a new formula that comes with a glaze coating for moist, slightly tender and caramelised buns. Juicier patties, derived from an increase in the gap setting of the flattening grill, will be served for all three burgers.
Other new upgrades include a 17.5°C thawing temperature for the cheese, adding 3.5 grams of caramelised diced onions served on top of the Big Mac and Double Cheese burgers and adding 50% more sauce served in the Big Mac.
Meanwhile, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese will return to all McDonald’s Singapore outlets.
The fastfood giant announced that the return will be permanent, along with the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
The Quarter Pounder with Cheese will be priced from S$6.30 a la carte and from S$8.10 when purchased as a meal whilst the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese will be priced from S$8.10 a la carte and from S$9.70 as a meal.
