Starbucks brings Oleato range to Japan

Japan is the third market it is bringing the new range.

Starbucks announced the release of the Oleato range at more than 60 select stores across Japan including Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo.

The Oleato beverages are a line of innovative coffee beverages that brings together Starbucks’ arabica coffee infused with a spoonful of Partanna cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil. 

The international coffee brand first released the new menu in Italy followed by the US. Japan is the third global launch for the beverage line.

Like the iconic Starbucks latte, the origin of Oleato beverages began in Italy. Whilst travelling in Italy in the summer of 2022, Howard Schultz, chairman emeritus and board member, Starbucks Coffee Company, came across a generations-old family tradition of enjoying a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil each day as an uplifting ritual.
