Burger King Singapore launches plant-based Whopper

A special deal is available on Deliveroo from June 18.

Burger King Singapore is now selling a plant-based Whopper, first made available to Deliveroo customers.

The new item features a flame-grilled, plant-based patty from Netherlands-based faux meat producer The Vegetarian Butcher and is served between toasted sesame buns and topped with sliced tomatoes, fresh lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, and sliced white onions.

As is, the burger is priced at S$7.90 a la carte, but customers can avail Deliveroo and Burger King’s limited time combo deal, priced at S$10, with fries and a drink.

The “one-for-one” deal is limited to 500 sets at participating Burger King stores, Deliveroo said.

New Deliveroo customers can also avail a S$10 discount off a $20 spend on all Burger King orders with the code PLANTWHOPPER, valid till 30 September.
