Nearly 9 in 10 Hong Kong consumers eat fast food monthly
Three in five said they would like to experience new food and cuisines.
Fast food is a regular part of dining behaviour in Hong Kong, with 87% saying they eat from fast food restaurants at least once a month, a report from YouGov revealed.
In YouGov’s survey of more than 550 people in Hong Kong who eat at least once a week at fast food restaurants, it revealed that 84% of respondents who frequently eat fast food work full-time. 62% are middle-income workers, whilst 49% are parents of under-18-year-olds.
Meanwhile, 63% of the respondents are Hong Kongers aged above 45.
