New Jollibee store to open in the ‘Bowtie’ at Times Square, New York

Times Square branch will also offer other menu favourites.

Jollibee’s Times Square branch will open on 18 August, where customers will be welcomed with favourite menu items of the popular Philippine fast food chain.

This newest store stemmed from the Jollibee Group’s expansion overseas as well as its growth in North America.

The store will be located beside Good Morning America and in the Bowtie, where the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop is held.

“We are excited to spread the joy of eating to everyone and contribute to the diverse and exciting food scene in Times Square,” said Maribeth Dela Cruz, Jollibee Group’s President for Philippine Brands (Jollibee, Chowking, and Red Ribbon) in North America.

The new branch will sell Jollibee’s signature fried chicken and Chicken Sandwich, Jolly Spaghetti and popular dessert, peach mango pie.

With 84 locations in North America and over 1,500 restaurants worldwide, Jollibee’s presence continues to grow in the U.S. and Canada. It is targeting to reach 500 stores in the next five to seven years.
