Pokémon takes over KFC Singapore with exclusive merch and experiences

The campaign also debuts Japanese-inspired Nanban Zinger and Chicken Bites.

KFC Singapore is launching a Pokémon-themed campaign from 19 August to 29 September, featuring limited-edition merchandise, themed restaurant makeovers, Pokémon GO activities, and beginner-friendly Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) sessions.

During the campaign period, all 71 KFC outlets in Singapore will be transformed into PokéStops and Gyms in Pokémon GO, allowing players to collect in-game items and participate in battles.

Five selected outlets will also receive Pokémon-inspired makeovers based on different types: Water at KFC NEX, Fire at KFC JEM, Electric at KFC Kallang, Ghost at KFC Compass One, and Grass at KFC Jurong Point.

These stores will feature themed decorations, photo opportunities, and special Pokémon decals, including Mega Raichu X, Mega Raichu Y, Mega Charizard X, and Mega Charizard Y.

The campaign will also introduce a seasonal Japanese-inspired menu featuring KFC’s take on the Nanban Zinger and Chicken Bites. The items will be served with egg tartar sauce and spring onions and will be available from 19 August to 29 September.

As part of the collaboration, KFC will release a range of Pokémon-themed collectables, including a reversible pouch, Poké Ball bucket, gaming chopsticks, Evolution jacket, Pikachu car neck pillow, and sticker sheet.

From 19 August, customers who purchase a Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box can purchase a Pokémon Reversible Everyday Blind Pouch for $14.95.

Available at all KFC outlets except Singapore Zoo and Sentosa, the pouch comes in one of four designs featuring Pikachu, Eevee, Mew, or Snorlax and can be reversed to display different looks.

From 9 September, customers can purchase a Poké Ball Bucket for $12.95 with every purchase of a 5-piece Chicken Bucket. The bucket measures approximately 23cm in diameter and is designed to store snacks, toys, or everyday items.

It will be available at all KFC outlets except Singapore Zoo and Sentosa, whilst stocks last.

The Pokémon Gaming Chopsticks, featuring Pikachu and Gengar designs, will be available from 9 September at $15.95 through the KFC Delivery App, GrabFood, and Foodpanda with selected Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites orders.

A limited-edition Pokémon Evolution Jacket inspired by Charizard, Charmander, and Charmeleon will launch on 9 September at $99.

The jacket will be available with a dine-in or takeaway purchase of a Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box at five outlets: KFC Kallang, Jurong Point, Bedok Town Square, Causeway Point, and SCAPE. Each customer will be limited to one jacket purchase.

The Pikachu car neck pillow set will be available at selected drive-thru and extended-hour KFC outlets from 11am. Priced at $32.95 for a set of two, it can be purchased with a Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box.

Customers purchasing selected breakfast meals with Milo from KFC breakfast outlets can also receive a Pokémon Sticker Sheet from 19 August. The promotion applies to dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders through Foodpanda and GrabFood until 11am, whilst stocks last.

KFC will also host Pokémon-related activities throughout the campaign, including Pokémon GO features, Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials, and a Pikachu meet-and-greet.

More than 200 Pokémon TCG tutorial sessions will be held for beginners under the “New Trainer Journey” programme, where participants who complete the sessions will receive items such as a paper playmat, a reward voucher, and a battle deck containing two 30-card decks.

The free tutorial sessions will be held at KFC Serangoon NEX, KFC Kallang, KFC Jurong Point, KFC Compass One, and KFC JEM on 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 September 2026.

A Pikachu meet-and-greet will also be held on 29 August at three KFC outlets: KFC Kallang from 11am to 11:30am, KFC SCAPE from 2pm to 2:30pm, and KFC Jurong Point from 5pm to 5:30pm.
