Chooks-to-go targets non-traditional locations with smaller models
The brand is opening smaller food outlets inside school campuses.
Chooks! Express is a smaller off-shoot of the Chooks-to-go brand that is aimed towards non-traditional locations, mainly schools.
Dr. Erasmus J. Padres, Senior Vice President of Chooks! Express said this kiosk-style grab-and-go concept was intended specifically for schools to serve more affordable healthy food within 10 seconds.
“[Chooks! Express] is for the students including the faculty. Normally, they go out or sometimes they are limited with their choice in their school, but offering Chook's! Express which is basically from our dine-in format and Chooks-to-go stores. But the product offering is just limited. Those that we can only serve within 10 seconds,” Dr Erasmus explained.
Dr Erasmus said they are mulling launching this concept further, where their grab-and-go Chooks-to-go concepts near schools are located.
“Some of our Chooks-to-go stores are located near schools. So in those standalone Chooks-to-go stores, we also plan to offer Chooks! Express meals for the students,” Dr Erasmus said.
