McDonald’s Singapore hosts largest community Lohei ahead of CNY
Each family got a “Lohei Treasure Box” featuring fries, McWings, and McNuggets.
McDonald’s Singapore held a large-scale community lohei event at Punggol Digital District, bringing together over 200 ComLink+ families and Punggol residents.
The gathering was supported by Families for Life, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, the People’s Association, and JTC and was framed as a chance for families to take part in Chinese New Year customs and spend time together offline, aligning with the Grow Well SG initiative.
Each family received a “Lohei Treasure Box” that unfolded into a serving tray and included Prosperity Twister Fries, McWings, and Chicken McNuggets.
The company said 10 cents from every Prosperity Special Meal sold during the campaign period will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities Singapore, which supports families with seriously ill children.
Attendees took part in activities such as a “Tree of Wishes”, where guests wrote New Year messages for the community, as well as a calligraphy corner and a fortune-themed photo booth.
