The fast food chain has received the final bids for its China and Hong Kong outlets from at least three different groups, including private equity firms Carlyle Group (CG.O) and TPG Capital.
Carlyle partnered with the Chinese state conglomerate CITIC Group, while TPG joined with mini-market operator Wumart Stores on their bids for the 20-year franchise..
Real estate firm Sanpower Group also made an offer for the franchise, teaming up with Beijing Tourism Group.
