Subway Malaysia celebrates family, togetherness during Ramadan in new campaign
It also introduced a new mascot named Sabweh, created by local artist Ernest Ng.
Subway Malaysia is celebrating family and togetherness this Ramadan with the launch of its 1-foot closer or Satu Kaki Lebih Mesra campaign.
The series of videos features people from different walks of life, aiming to highlight the “importance of sharing and kindness in the community.”
One video features conflicts and dynamics in the workplace that can be overcome with patience, whilst other videos showcase families and couples “practising forgiveness in time for a peaceful and fulfilling Ramadan,” the chain said.
Beginning on March 30 2022, Subway restaurants in Malaysia will also introduce seasonal offerings, including the Italian B.M.T., Roasted Chicken, Steak & Cheese, Chicken Teriyaki, and Chicken Slice.
“Ramadan is a season of celebration, family, and togetherness. We are excited to amplify this message through the Satu Kaki Lebih Mesra campaign in the local community, and through our seasonal value offerings, which are perfect for sharing, caring and spending time with our loved ones,” said Samad Mohd Shariff, country director, Subway, South East Asia.
As part of the new campaign, Subway introduced a new mascot named Sabweh, created by local artist Ernest Ng. The character will make his debut across Malaysia with limited-edition Raya packets, available for guests to redeem in-restaurant with any purchase from April 13 onwards.
