JUMBO Group eyes bigger share of out-of-home market with revamped retail arm
Love, Afare aims to recreate restaurant experiences through their range of sauces and condiments.
JUMBO Group announced the launch of Love, Afare, its rebranded retail arm.
Aiming to offer “authentic local flavours and Singapore culture in a “bring-home” format” and “to allow one to relish signature flavours from the Group’s restaurants”, the retail range consists of premix pastes and condiments, including the Singapore Chilli Crab Paste, Singapore Black Pepper Crab Spice, Singapore Cereal Premix and Singapore Teochew Style Bak Kut Teh Spice.
The group is also selling merchandise through the channel, and teased the arrival of snacks and tea in their range.
“Love, Afare expands the Group’s reach beyond the brick and mortar restaurant setting, allowing a wider audience, both local and international, to experience and enjoy JUMBO’s creations. The brand, with its vibrant colours and youthful tone, is a reflection of our enthusiasm to bring our retail portfolio to greater heights,” Ang Kiam Meng, group CEO and executive Director of JUMBO, said in a media release sent to the SGX.
